Vocational Nursing Program

Didactic portions of this program are held at the National Career College additional classroom location (14547 Titus St., Suite 212, Panorama City, CA 91402).  

Our comprehensive curriculum provides you the knowledge and skills to be an immediate and vital member of the healthcare team. Our program is designed to develop critically-thinking nursing students, ready to function in a rapidly-changing health care system.

Nursing Fundamentals

Nursing classes such as: Foundations of Nursing, Pharmacology, Nursing Skills, Nutrition, Anatomy and Physiology, and Growth & Development ensure the readiness of students to provide holistic and culturally competent care to patients of all ages before going to the various clinical sites.
 

Vocational Nursing Program

Medical Surgical Nursing

Nurse courses that focus on various diseases affecting various body systems such as: Nervous, Cardiac, Respiratory, Digestive, and Musculoskeletal systems. These classes integrate information to continuously augment and ensure mastery of knowledge.

Labor & Delivery

Learn the complexities of mother-baby care. Focus on client education, communication, assessment, and providing comprehensive nursing care. Leadership & Career Preparation Focus on developing and improving interpersonal and leadership skills. Anticipate prospective employment with resume building, interviewing techniques and preparation. Complete NCLEX-PN review program to ensure success at the boards!
